New method better detects ovarian cancer

Doctors have a new weapon in the battle against ovarian cancer -- a dye that tracks tumors and glows under fluorescent light. The method, developed at Purdue University, illuminates cancer cells to help surgeons spot and remove smaller tumors that could otherwise be missed.
