Study: Radioactivity in cigarettes causes cancer
It's not just chemicals in cigarette smoke, there is also radiation present that can cause cancer. That's the finding of a study by researchers at UCLA which also concluded that tobacco companies knew for decades that cigarette smoke was radioactive and potentially carcinogenic but kept the information from the public.
