Woman misdiagnosed, never had cancer

Cases of cancer misdiagnoses are all too common, with the presence of the disease either missed or diagnosed too late. But the experience of a Long Island, NY, woman ran counter to the usual case of misdiagnosis. The long ordeal of Romana Jimenez, an 85-year-old grandmother, began in late 2008 when she entered Brookhaven Memorial Hospital complaining of abdominal pain. She was diagnosed with
